New Sephora by OPI!

Sephora by OPI Jewelry Top Coats

Sephora by OPI Jewelry Top Coats (L to R) Indi-go With the Flow, I Found a Pot of Gold, To the Glitter End

Sephora by OPI recently added 4 new shades to their line of Jewelry Top Coats – “A brilliant finishing touch that acts like jewelry for your nails.” I wouldn’t really go as far as to say these really resemble jewels much, but they are pretty top coats to add a little something extra to you nails. Out of the 4 new additions I picked up: I Found a Pot of Gold!, Indi-go With the Flow, and To the Glitter End!. Also included in the new lineup is G-listen to Your Heart which is a mix of chunky and fine magenta glitter. All of these polishes are in clear base coats as they are meant to be used over other colors.

Sephora by OPI I Found a Pot of Gold!

I Found a Pot of Gold! Is a fine gold glitter with pieces of diamond shaped holographic glitter mixed in.  This was my least favorite of the 3. I’ve never been a fan of diamond shapes, so I’m not quite sure why I chose this one. I layered this over L’oreal Amazon Flash which is a shimmery gold. The application was pretty difficult, since there isn’t really a lot of diamonds mixed in they all settled on the bottom and sides of the bottle so I had to shake it in between each coat. Even with that it was still hard to grab at least one or two on the brush each time. I really had to dig for a diamond sometimes just so I wouldn’t have just one random nail without it. The diamond shape kind of made me think of cards/casinos…with that in mind I think it would have been a cooler polish if it were  black glitter with red diamonds or vice versa.  I’m still kind of “eh” about this one though.

Sephora by OPI Indi-go With the Flow

Sephora by OPI Indi-go With the Flow

Indi-go With the Flow is so awesome :) Unfortunetly my pics don’t do it justice. I layered it over Nails Inc Black Taxi and I love it oh so much. It consists of both fine and chunky indigo blue glitter. Sephora describes it as steel blue, but I see too much purple in it to consider it as that. This formula is really thick, be careful during application because the brush grabs onto A LOT of glitter. I intended on just using one coat, but each time I grabbed so much I ended up with one really heavy coat. I really like polishes that have dense glitter in it so this didn’t bother me much. I love love love this one.

Sephora by OPI To the Glitter End

Sephora by OPI To the Glitter End

To the Glitter End! is a really fun top coat. It’s a tie between Indi-go With the Flow and this one for me. To the Glitter End! is a clear base with chunky pewter colored glitter. The glitter is actually hex shaped, but its hard to tell since its not as big as usual hex glitter. I really love this one too, I layered it over Nails Inc Black taxi as well to help the dark gray color of the glitter pop a little more. This isn’t a really super sparkly glitter, which made me love it even more. Application was pretty thick as well on this. It went on really heavy and I only applied one coat. I think part of the issue is the brush, it manages to grab so much glitter and kind of over flow your nail with it. I managed to control the glitter a bit better on my other hand, but since I’m a righty I need that hand to take hold the camera ;)

Has anyone tried these new glitter top coats out yet? I’m curious about G-Listen To Your Heart since thats the only one I didn’t pick up.
