My good friend and partner in lacquer crime had given me some Sally Hansen Diamond Strength coupons (yay) and I finally got around to using some of them. This weekend I used one to pick up Black Diamond. I’ve always had a soft spot for black nail polish, I was definitely the girl in high school that always wore black nail polish and never would be caught in pink. As I’ve grown so has my appreciation for pink, but I still prefer black over pink any day …and when you add sparkle to it, even better

Black Diamond pretty much says it all in the name, it’s black polish with lots of shimmery micro glitter that looks like it could be diamond dust. I love this polish, its a simple black shimmery polish without being overly sparkly. Plus the new bottles are super fancy

gorgeous! it reminds me of the one hunger games polish thats matte. you should mattify this and see if it looks the same

I love a black sparkly polish too. In HS I think I mostly didn’t paint my nails or I wore bright red. I didn’t experiment with too many colors but I did like doing my nails occasionally. Not like I do now. In HS I think between basketball and my after-school job my nails got too trashed to be obsessed with my nails. Sad.. think of all the fun I could have had!! haha
Love this polish tho! It reminds me of Smoke and Ashes but with a more muted shimmer instead of blue/green. Purdy!

I think there just wasn’t even close to the amount of different colors for nail polish now when I was in HS. My nails would be a mess too. I didn’t maintain them as much as I do now

Even if you don’t wear it it’s still pretty to look at in the bottle
