Yellow looks horrible on me. That is a fact, and one that I have learned to accept. When I saw my cute lil chicky birdie image on one of my Konad plates though I knew I had to put it to good use. I probably could have opted for a color other than yellow, but hello…easter chickies should be yellow.
I was torn between using Orly Lemonade and Sephora by OPI IM Beauty which is discontinued and I think replaced with Cab Fare. Anyways, I like the color of Lemonade better, but unfortunately IM Beauty was slightly less gross on me. I used 3 coats of IM Beauty and stamped my lil chicky with Konad stamping polish in white. For my non stamping fingers I used one coat of Nubar White Polka Dot to try and offset the yellowness. I think this mani turned out cute despite my clash with yellow, of course I kept getting glare over my chicky in every pic, but I think her cuteness shines through.

I love the white glitter on top of the yellow!! And that chick is adorable! I agree, no color but yellow would have been suitable. ^.^

Yep! Yellow would make sense for the little chick! hehe. Yea, I don’t think yellow goes well with my skin tone. It actually doesn’t look bad on you in these pics!
