Heeeellloooo….Sooooo *grin* I kinda went super sparkly with my nails for today’s post. I had some new polishes I bought this past weekend AND I received another Dandy Nails polish in the mail today. Which Dandy Nails you may be asking??? Fun House! When I saw how shiny Fun House was in person I figured why not go for super shiny and sparkly instead of just shiny.
Fun House is a clear polish base with silver micro glitter and shards of magenta and teal flakes. It looked so flashy in the bottle I didn’t want to layer it over a plain ol’ cream polish…I figured why not make it as flashy as possible? I had just purchased China Glaze Ray-diant from the Prismatic collection, which is a densely packed light gold with a bit of a green tint and tons of multi colored glitter thrown in there. I paired the two up for my mani and the outcome was super flashy and sparkly
I wish I could get that across in my pictures better, but I hope you get the idea!
I started with my Essie base coat, 2 coats of Ray-diant, 1 coat Seche top coat, 1 coat of Fun House, another coat of Seche, and then a final coat of Gelous. Wow…7 coats haha… this was my first time using Gelous, I could have gone with another coat but at my 7th I was more concerned about taking this stuff off than an awesome mani.
I hope I did Fun House some justice with my post
I was never really interested in “shard” polishes until I saw Fun House…now I’m loving it!
Dandy Nails can be purchased through Etsy, Fun House is sold out at the moment, but there are still a bunch of other awesome polishes to check out.

This is such a fun combo, I love it! It’s almost circusy, but it’s gorgeous!!

Thank you
It makes me think of a circus type look too, or even a little Eastery because of the colors.

Wow, so much sparkling going on there
I love your mani even if I can’t stand that sort of glitter on my nails.

Wow 7 coats!! No polish is worth that many coats
It looks nice though. I like the multicolored sherds. They really pop on the silvery base colour

Yea….7 is a lot lol. I normally don’t ever use that many, but all the coats were pretty thin so once I was done it didn’t have that thick feeling. It wasn’t impossible to get off either thank goodness

Wow that is one spicy meatball! I don’t know why I just wrote that but it seemed to fit…at least in my head. LOL I don’t think I would put in that much work with all the coats but it looks pretty interesting. It’s the kind of look I love to admire but could never deal with on my nails. I’m much too spastic.
