Today’s post is going to be a little different than my usual. Instead of featuring a nail polish, this post will be featuring my new Konad plate! Yaaaaaay 
I was recently contacted by Nail Polish Canada to review one of 3 new Konad plates and of course I happily agreed.
The new Konad plate I chose to review is M88. It has two different designs, a zebra print style French tip and a lacy design that could be used for your nail tips or any other way really. Even though this plate only has two designs, I like the fact that it has 5 different sizes of the zebra print so you have a different size for each finger. Very convenient considering no one (or at least I think no one…) has the same nail size between their pinky and thumb.

For the lace design, I decided to do a black and white mani. It reminds me of a doily lace, so I wanted to keep it simple and classy I used Zoya Snow White and Konad stamping polish in black. You can probably use this design in a few other ways, but I really liked the look of it as a French tip.

Now for something more trendy. For my next Konad mani I used Borghese Stellare Notte with Konad stamping polish in black for the zebra print French tips. Stellare Notte has a purple/green duochrome effect…I didn’t capture it too much in the following pics since its such a dark color. In person the duochrome is very noticeable and looks really great under the zebra print when it shifts in the light.

Have you tried French tip stamps? I really think patterned tips are a really fun way to add an accent to your nails without taking over too much of your base color.

There is no minimum, all Konad plates ship for free (even to the U.S.). They cost $2 more than if you were to purchase from Konad directly, but the free shipping offsets that since I think the standard shipping cost (for me at least) on Konad’s site is $6-$7. Just wanted to give you all the heads up on that, since I know I HATE paying shipping…its such a party pooper when I online shop.

I agree, I like the lacy stamp as a french tip! I have plenty of tip stamps on my Bundle Monster plates, but haven’t had the balls to try them yet! =P I have a feeling tip stamps are going to be very difficult to get the hang of!

I love the black and white stamping so much!! I’ll have to try this myself one day! Stamping french tips is not easy though…

Yea, it was reaaaally hard at first, but it’s like everything else. Once you get a hang of it everything kinda clicks and your a stamping machine

Love this! I haven’t tried playing with the tip designs, but you make me want to try! And thanks for sharing this site!! I love free shipping too. I never like shopping online and having to pay for shipping haha
