Hello All!
I am proud to say I am successfully taking baby steps in slowing down my polish buying. My first example: I purchased only 2 out of the 4 Orly Dark Shadows polishes. Such a huge feat right? If you’re at all curious the two I bought were Buried Alive and Mysterious Curse. I think I only have 1 brown polish in my collection so I had to try out Buried Alive and Mysterious Curse was a given since I love my purples. I’ll admit though…I did order two China Glaze along with my Orly…it was the Sally buy 2 get 1 sale! I’m just one addict against a world of polish and sales…I said baby steps :/

Buried Alive…so pretty, so so pretty. It’s not just any ol’ brown polish, it contains tons of copper and bronze colored shimmer in it. Since I literally just put this on an hour ago and it’s 11:30pm right now I haven’t had the chance to see what it looks like in natural light. I can imagine the shimmer in this brings out even more amazingness in the sunlight. Needless to say, I love Buried Alive.

So is anyone planning on going to see Dark Shadows? I’ve never seen the actual show before (original or remake), but slap Tim Burton and Johnny Depp’s name on it and I’m there

I should do as you do and start with baby steps to slow down with the nail polish buying…

I don’t think I’m going to make it very far with my baby steps…everywhere I turn I see a sale. Maybe we should start a support group

I’m so anxious to see it in the sun, my luck I woke up to a gray and rainy day. Booooo lol guess I’ll have to wear it til the sun comes out

I love this! I’m a huge fan of brown polishes. The shimmer in this is so pretty!

Its cloudy and rainy here today so I still can’t see it shimmer in the sun! It’s still very pretty to look at in indoor lighting, highly recommend this if you love browns

Haha, yea this is only my second brown in mine I think. I’ve been too blindsided by all the super brights lately.

I know, I need to lock myself in a box with no outside contact in order to avoid all the pretties taunting me at sale price.

Baby steps are good. I am only one day into my no-buy thing and I’m already regretting it. lol
I don’t remember if this is the other color that I wanted to get but it does look pretty.

I too say I should slow down on my nail polish spending…..but you know what? I don’t have any bad habits. I don’t smoke and drink very little. I could be doing much worse so I don’t feel so bad when I splurge a little on polish. You shouldn’t either.
