Hey Everyone!
I finally got my one polish I managed to snag at Dollish Polish‘s first Big Cartel opening…It’s a Me Mario! Apparently there’s a mail carrier in the tri-state area with super glam Mario nails who felt they needed this polish more than me. Luckily Dolly is a doll (hehe) and sent me a replacement. Yay! Every time I look at this polish I hear Mario’s voice saying “It’s a me Mario!” and that makes me very happy.
Its a Me Mario!
It’s a Me Mario is a clear base with medium and small red & blue hex glitter with large glitter stars. The glitter is really packed in there so you won’t find yourself with a half ass glitter application here. The only thing you’ll be fishing for are the stars, but I didn’t really have to fish too hard. For this mani i chose to layer It’s a Me Mario over Urban Decay Love Train which is kind of a sheer frosty pearly white. I tried other combinations but it just looked so patriotic to me. Layering it over a white doesn’t really make it any less patriotic, but I wasn’t in the mood for a dark mani. It looked really good over Orly Royal Navy, so if you have both I would suggest trying out that combination.

I then applied Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love for a matte effect. I’m not sure which I like better, matte or super sparkly…they both looked good to me

So what do you think about It’s a Me Mario!? It would be cute if Dollish Polish came out with a Yoshi and Princess too

This is such a lovely polish, I adore the pieces of star glitter in this. I think it looks lovely in matt and sparkly

It’s gorgeous! I also managed to get this one and the Zelda duo! I’ll try one of them tonight
I love the matte version and I wouldn’t have thought of mattifing those glitters!
BTW, I love the way you take your pictures, they are very clear and enjoyable!
