I see the light! Well…every now and then between the massive clouds. It’s been a dark and wet week here in the North East and I’m sick of it. This is the saddest excuse for a May EVER. Today’s the first day of sunshine I’ve seen in days..its still very overcast, but I get sneaks of sunshine every once in a while as the clouds move their lazy behinds by. To celebrate the spots of sunshine I pulled out a neon I’ve been waiting to try on for some time now…China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise. I absolutely love all of the China Glaze neons I’ve worn so far and it didn’t stop here.
Turned Up Turquoise is a bright neon turquoise green. I freaking love this color…but as I repeat this with every other neon I’ve posted….the color didn’t transfer well into pictures. *sigh*
The following pictures were in natural light…but not direct sunlight thanks to the afore mentioned clouds. I used two coats of Turned Up Turquoise, luckily it was not as streaky as most other neons, and one coat of Seche Vite top coat. I also did a little peacock stamp for an accent nail using my red angel plate with white Konad stamping polish.
So just imagine Turned Up Turquoise “turned up” a few notches in the vibrant and neon categories. I feel bad not being able to capture accurate colors in neons, but I love them too much not to post them. Anyone planning on getting the new China Glaze Neons soon?? I’m suuuuper excited to get my hands on most of them
