Hey Everyone!!!
OMG, I’m in LOOOOOOOOOVE! Its been a while since I’ve fallen so hard for a particular polish and I’ve fallen really hard for this one. I purchased 5 of the China Glaze Summer 2012 Neon Collection today. I would have purchased all of them if my Sally’s had the other 7 (so lame). It was a completely untouched full display, but with only 5 shades. When I asked if they had the rest of the collection it got me no where. What a shocker. I didn’t get as lucky as some of you who have great Sally’s sales people. Amazon it is….
This is what I managed to find…so disappointed the only pink they had was the one I was least interested in, but I still got it of course.

I’m With the Lifeguard is a neon lime green with golden shimmer…the shimmer just increases its awesomeness. The formula was great and not streaky or watery like a lot of other neons including the previous CG neon collection. I used two coats over a base coat and topped it off with Seche Vite dry fast. I’m With the Lifeguard didn’t dry completely matte, probably because of the shimmer, but it still needed a top coat to bring it back up to a full shine.

Have you tried any of the new China Glaze Summer 2012 Neons? I wish my Sally had the full collection 
I really wanted to try all the pink/fuchsia/ coral shades, but I’m happy they at least had I’m With the Lifeguard because it was at the top of my want list. I guess I’ll just have to buy the rest when they start popping up online.

Haha thats what was in my mind too, but then I ended up buying all the colors they had and now I still want the rest of the collection. But IF you MUST have only one I would choose this one as well.

the shimmer is gorgeous!! it really makes the polish unique, since neons tend to be kinda flat without a topcoat. i seriously need to check my sally’s for this collection

Exactly what I thought
Most neons are kinda flat, but this one had more life to it. I think most of the colors from this collection have that shimmer too, which is why I justified getting the neon yellow even though I have Celtic Sun already

The shimmer makes this even more interesting! I don’t know how that green would look on me but you wear it really well. Why is it that so many Sally’s have employees who don’t know anything about the products they sell??

Ugh, I know it frustrates me. I’ve gotten crappy answers/service every time I’ve tried to ask them ANYTHING. They don’t bother lifting a finger or even looking on the shelf if you say you can’t find something…it’s just “whatever is out is what we have”. And one particular lady gives me that generic answer and then always tries to up sell me crap on the counter, like pumice stones or whatever. I’m like noooo thanks…I’d rather buy the thing I was asking you for. Kinda puts a damper on being excited about taking a Sally’s trip. Good thing I’m getting an ULTA in the fall…25 min away though…but at least its another option.

Hmmm… this might be the neon green I’ve been looking for! I haven’t seen the ChG Neons in the store yet but maybe next time I swing by they’ll have them! Mine also seems to have like partial collections tho so we’ll see if that’s the case
I didn’t think I’d like the shimmer in these but after seeing your pics I’m changing my mind!

Don’t be scared of the shimmer
It’s really subtle, just enough to keep it from looking flat.
