Hey Everyone,
Can I just start off by first saying I see nothing “bridal” about this nail polish?? I chose Sally Hansen Bride to Be as my mani because I’m going on an interview tomorrow and I needed something not insanely bright. I wasn’t in the mood for a nude shade so I figured Bride to Be was a good compromise.

Bridal to Be is from Sally Hansen’s Diamond Strength line. It is a light metallic silver, maybe with a little bit of light blue tone to it. It also has silvery blue shimmer in the bottle…but on the nail its just a really weird scattered looking shimmer. The application left a lot to be desired. It is very sheer, but managed to complete full coverage in 2 coats. Once it dried I noticed I had a lot of chunky bumps in the polish :/ I don’t think I’ve ever had a polish do that before…especially one so sheer you would think it would at least dry smooth.

The close up looks a little off in color. The reason for this is that I had sun light hitting one side of my nail and the other in shade. Soooo I figured it was a good way to show you how it looks in direct light and in the shade.

Looks totally different right? Its practically gold vs silver now. It may have been the sun since my light was around the time the sun was starting to go down so that may be why its yellowish. I really don’t know though.
I’m not all happy with this color, I feel like a lot of the Diamond Strength shades I have aren’t all that great. The formula is always sheer and not the best. The end results have no wow factor either. Maybe its just my poor color selection…or maybe it’s Sally Hansen. Lets hope my selection doesn’t reflect how my interview will go tomorrow. *ugly mani fingers crossed*

I really think it’s a great color! Too bad it’s so sheer though, I try to stay away from sheer polishes, unless they are really special!

Now they’re all starting to trickle in..but you never know how it’ll go. You’ll eventually get an interview, these things all tend to happen at once!

I never did pick this one up. It doesn’t fit properly in the “bridal” category at all! It’s an alright color, I just don’t love it. =)

How did your interview go? I only have one Diamond Strength nail polish and I don’t really like it much. I think it’s Black Diamond.

It went good…at least I think, you never know haha. Still waiting to hear back from them :/ I have Black Diamond too and thats the only one I don’t mind, not crazy about it either but its not nearly as disappointing as all the other Diamond Strength I’ve tried.

I agree with you about these Sally Hansen polishes…I picked up a couple a while back, but am not exactly satisfied with the colors…they look pretty in the bottle, but don’t have the “wow” factor

Thanks! Still waiting to hear back which never seems good lol. Sally Hansen needs to step it up a few notches, I haven’t been in love with any of their shades for a very long time.
