Hey Everyone!
I got another boring one today…no glitz or glam here. I’m working on a one day assignment at an investment management firm so if there’s one place to tone myself down that would be it. I went with the most subtle nail I can come up with without going bare….Urban Decay Fame.

Fame is from the Urban Decay Rollergirl nail kit released summer of 2011. It is a light shimmery beige, I guess you can even call it champagne. Urban Decay doesn’t have the best formula, but it’s not the worst. I only say this because every Urban Decay color I’ve worn chipped by the end of the day. So I probably didn’t make the best choice here as I know I’ll be doing heavy paperwork and filing…oops. More reason to paint my nails again

Do you own any of the UD nail kits? I have Rollergirl and Apocalyptic, both I purchased on clearance. They usually retail $28, which I think is waaaay overpriced for a set of 6 mini polishes. I don’t remember exactly how much I got Apocalyptic for since it was years ago, but I managed to get Rollergirl for $8. I’m still waiting for the Holiday Nail Kit to drop down in their clearance section, it’s currently at $12…holding my cards for an 8!

Yea it was a one day thing which made me realize I never want to temp again, its so not for me. Still trying to find real work.

I’ve never really been tempted to purchase UD nail polishes. I guess I’m weird but I don’t like buying mini bottles. This color would probably look atrocious on my skin tone.
A few years ago I temped from place to place for 6 months and it was kinda brutal. For me it was about actually finding a place I liked so I guess in the end it worked out. I have tons of stories from all that temp work so at least it’s amusing to think back on that.

They aren’t that bad a size for minis. They’re 5ml compared to SOPI minis that are 3.75ml…UD is just more expensive at regular retail price which sucks a lot.
I was hoping I could use temping to do the same, kinda look around and try out places to see what I wanted. Unfortunately even getting temp jobs feels impossible these days. I’m still looking on my own and just using any temp stuff I get for some sort of income. I just don’t like a lot of change and would rather settle in a job so temping is just uncomfortable for me.
