Hey Everyone!
If you are reading this blog chances are you enjoy giving yourself manicures and pedicures. Although I try to keep my hands in good shape I will admit that I do not keep up with proper foot care as much as I should. I hardly ever look at my feet during winter months, and by the time summer turns the corner I’m not too enthused by what I see going on down there. When I do tend to my feet during the winter its only for a quick snip and painting of the toes until I need to snip again. One of the main reasons why I don’t do much to my feet during winter is because I HATE being cold. I run cold anyways so I get extra cold quickly, my feet are always in slippers and/or socks all the time. So when I try and paint my toe nails my main issue is being impatient and putting on socks or slippers too soon because I’m cold and my toe nails get completely smudged. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has experienced this, its very frustrating! So when I heard of Pedi Sox I knew I had to give it a try.
Pedi Sox are a simple yet genius idea created by a clever woman named Pamela Berryhill who wanted a way to transfer her feet from freshly pedicured back to every day life with out the catastrophic smudge. They are toeless socks that allow you to paint your toes all while keeping your footsies warm. Pedi Sox come in 5 different versions: Pro, Ultra, Original, Spa and Lite. Each come in an array of patterns and colors so you have plenty of options to choose from that matches your pedi-tude
Now I’m very self conscious about my feet so this will be the one and only time they will ever make an appearance on Lacquer Me Silly or anywhere on the web. Instead of taking after my mom’s perfectly shaped toes and small feet I took after my father and got his big feet and skinny toes. But since I like this product enough, I’m putting all that aside and exposing my alien toe to the world. (Yes thats what I nick named my extra long toe
)

(Incase you’re curious I’m wearing SOPI Slushied from the Glee Collection on my toes)
All Pedi Sox are one size fits all and super stretchy so you don’t have to worry if your feet are wide, narrow, big or small.
If you also like to moisturize your feet, an added benefit is applying a moisturizer or treatment to your feet and putting on your Pedi Sox to help absorb it in more. You can also do this with regular socks, but I know during the summer I get too hot to wear socks on my feet in bed so the thinner Lite version is a good way to encourage overnight foot care.
Pedi Sox are priced between $7 – $11 (depending on style) and can be purchased directly from their website where you can also find a list of distributors.
*HINT* Keep an eye out for my next giveaway, there may be some Pedi Sox and other goodies in your future!

What a neat idea! But I’m the opposite. I run hot, so I never wear socks, or sleeves.
Don’t be so hard on your feet! They are cute
My feet are dry and callused (from not wearing socks I suppose) so I shove them in sandals and forget about them. I hate painting my toes, so much!

Haha, thank you! Its so weird seeing my feet on a computer screen. Wearing no socks and always wearing sandals probably is the cause of your rough feet, I know mine feel a little rougher too in the summer. Do you live in warm weather all year round? I know if I did I’d be in flip flips and sandals all the time.

No, I live in Canada. Ontario, specifically. We get cold winters….but I dont wear socks then either. I’m just weird…. I try to put lotion on my feet at night (Palmers Cocoa Butter) and it helps a lot.
Oh! I saw your comment on my Alice bottle. Would you like me to find you one? It’s no problem, really!

haha these are interesting! i’m totally like you cause i run cold, so i always wear socks/slippers. did you have any problems with these staying on? since they’re one size, i’m wondering if they would slide down and bunch up, or get annoying in other ways.

Nope, didn’t have a problem with them moving around. The toe and ankle area (where the stripe of color is) are extra stretchy and elastic so it stays snug. Plus its elastic without those elastic bands in it so it doesn’t squeeze you so tight that it leaves those marks on your skin. I even walked around in them for a while and they didn’t budge.

Well that’s a very clever idea, even tho I never paint my nails in winter – there’s no way someone sees them. Snip snip and that’s it
I’m sure you could just cut the end of regular socks off and get away with it just as effective

Yea I agree with you, cutting off the toes of regular socks would be an alternative. The only difference is the elasticity the Pedi Sox have that’ll keep the socks snug and in place on your feet. Plus I might feel a little like a hobo with missing toes on my socks

I wanted that nail polish so bad! lol Then it was OOS so I gave up. I don’t think I’d wear these just because I hate wearing socks. I have the most jacked up looking feet. lol I wish my toes were longer but I do have nice nails at least. I try to give myself a pedi every other week but sometimes neglect my feet big time. I do like the idea behind this product.

Oh no, I thought I saw slushied in one of your sephora hauls. Maybe it was who let the dorks out? I know it was blue or turquoise…

These are so cute! I’m cold too during both winters and summers that’s why I never do pedis because I’m almost always wearing socks:-)

I feel like I never do pedis too because of the same reason. I’ll wear polish on my toes for ever just because I never look at them during the winter.

ANIMAL PRINT PEDI SOCKS!!! I thought they were such a clever idea and I have forgotten to use my boring pink and white ones lately! I hate going barefoot in order to let my toes dry, so I have to fish these out of my drawer!

I’m glad I’m learning I’m not the only one who neglects their feet during winter! These actually made me excited to give myself a pedi for the first time in a while. Accessories always makes a girl happy

I have several pair of these and love them. I like to use them with the whipped nut butters (shea, cocoa, etc) I use on my feet during my pedis. Socks help them get to work and keep my feet nice. Not having socks on right after seems like a waste. But I still have to polish. soooo the socks work. I only use them when I do my pedis.

Aren’t they great? I hate moisturizing my feet without putting socks on too, I like that these keep the moisture in but still let your feet breathe a little.

I need some of these!! I saw some (not this brand) at Ulta around christmas and told everyone I wanted them but they thought they were too weird and no one bought them for me
I should have bought them for myself. I am such a bad foot neglecter!! I never wear socks, wear heels all winter or flat sandals or heels/wedges all summer so my poor feet take a beating. I lotion my feet up and do all that good stuff but if I had some little sockies like this they’d be in much better shape!! I gotta get some.
PS: You’re brave for posting your feet. There’s nothing wrong with your feet but… they’re still feet. Haha. I am not a foot lover. :p

Haha, they’re not weird! I think they’re really comfy, even just walking in them around the house.
I couldn’t bring myself to post and NOT show me actually using them so I sucked it up and did it. I don’t enjoy looking at feet either so I really appreciate everyone who actually looked at this post lol. This is a one time appearance though…although my feet have now made its way onto Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest (not my doing)…I feel a bit exposed >.<
Sorry for my feet all up on your screen!
