Hey Everyone!
I’ve been feeling pretty uninspired recently when it comes to nail polish. Don’t get me wrong, I still love nail polish and love looking at everyone else’s blogs, but I’ve been feeling kind of blah about my own. I realized I haven’t done any sort of nail art in a while. I’ve pulled out my stamping plates several times, but end up just pushing them aside…not feeling stamping right now. So when all else fails, just start dotting. To get me in the mood I chose Barry M Mint Green as my inspiration.
Barry M Mint Green
Mint Green is exactly what the name implies….a mint green. This is the third Barry M polish I’ve used and I have to say these are great polishes. They’re not sold here in the U.S , but you can purchase them through Harlow & Co. or if you have a friend in the UK maybe they can send you some 
Just don’t bother with Amazon because they all seem to be over priced when I looked. However, you might be able to find some decently priced on Ebay.
For my so called nail art I used Julep Kate (pearly white) and Color Club Age of Aquarius (turquoise) along with Barry M Mint Green. I didn’t have any real idea in mind, I kinda just dotted away on one nail and repeated it on the rest of my nails. The only part about dotting that I find to be hard is consistency. Other than that, if you’re not going for a repetitive pattern, dotting is great because you can just do whatever you feel like and it’ll probably turn out cute.

I’m kind of “whatever” about this mani. The dotting does make it more interesting, but its nothing special. I don’t hate it, but I’m not in love with it. It is what it is….

I am the same as you…totally uninspired at the moment. I have come to the conclusion that it’s gotta be the weather in part. At least for me it is. I like this color, and the dots! Do you use a dotting tool?

Yep, I use a double ended dotting tool. I bought a set of 5 off of Amazon for super cheap a few months ago.

This reminds me of the little bubbles in the water when the fishies breathe! The double dot reminds me of a fish eye

Try it out with the ends of bobby pins for now, the only real downside is you can’t dot in different sizes as easily.

I really want to try Barry M nail polishes but I’ve always looked at the totally overpriced options. Thanks for recommending Harlow & Co. Hopefully they will get the stuff I want back in stock! It figures it wouldn’t be available…but good for my wallet.
I think this mani looks really cute and delicate. It’s the combination of colors but also the dots.

They were always sold out when I was looking so a friend of mine offered to send some over from the UK for me
Harlow & Co has a good selection (when in stock) but non Canadian shipping is pricey if you’re only looking to get a couple of polishes.

I really like it!! I like that color and the dotting is really cute! Maybe it doesn’t blow your mind, but I think it’s great! I really want some Barry M polishes. I see people using them all the time and I want to use them too! Haha.
