Hey Everyone!
Long time no blog! As you can see from my sign above, I’m officially back from my “fishing trip” and out of hiatus. First I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support, so THANK YOU! Not too much has changed for me in terms of why I left in the first place, but stepping back kind of helped me focus on better handling my situations. After a few days it was hard keeping away, as I was still silently visiting everyone’s blogs and lurking in the shadows of twitter (plus being spotted by Nicole from Polish Me, Please! several times 
).
As you might have noticed by now (unless you completely forgot what my blog used to look like) I took my break as an opportunity to do a little updating and gave my blog a new face. I’ve been wanting to change it for a while now, but always got so caught up with posting I never had a chance to take the time to do it. I’m still adjusting to my lay out and will probably do a little tweaking behind the scenes as well as what you all will see so bare with me if things don’t look consistent all the time. I’m quite picky when it comes to little details (one of which is bothering me to my core right now and I am determined to change).
Also….say hello to ME!
Again, in my failed attempt to not touch my blog I had a little “Chibi” version of myself created. Proportionally my head and eyes aren’t so huge compared to my body so don’t think I’m all freaky…Chibi characters are supposed to look like that I’ve been wanting to have a personalized character for my header since I started blogging, but I couldn’t afford the crazy prices I was seeing online for custom headers and my Photoshop skills are not nearly good enough to customize a stock photo to resemble myself. So I became resourceful and found a really nice and super awesome Illustrator from Audreydesigns on Fiverr. I’ve never used Fiverr before, but her work looked so awesome and I figured for $5 I didn’t have much to lose. I’m super happy with my lil Chibi me!! (Sorry for the watermarks, didn’t want to take any chances on my “Chibified” face with all the heightened photo stealing I’ve been seeing/hearing about lately)
I hope you all like Lacquer Me Silly’s new look! I plan on posting more non polish related posts as well in the future to kind of expand and share my love for all things cosmetics, but the majority of my posts will still be all about the lacquer we all love so dearly. Also, I’ve been working on a blog sale…more like procrastinating on it. I’m pretty reluctant to deduct from my collection, but it will happen…eventually.
I missed you all and I’m happy to be officially back!!!

YAY! Frosso’s back! *jumps up and down* I love your chibi! I want one too. I should start drawing again…
I really like your new layout. Spunky, but still very functional. Can’t wait to see what posts you have in store (nail polish or not, I love reading them!)

You mean you don’t have a giant head and a teeny body? Weird! Haha, Jk. I’m glad you’re back in full effect and I love the new layout. I want a personalized header so bad but I don’t even know if I’d be able to get it on my blog. I’m not too good w layout stuff. Anyway- welcome back, I hope things improve for you and… just yayyy you’re back!

Sorry to disappoint you with my proportionally shaped body in real life, my butt could handle being a little smaller if that makes you feel better lol.
I still barely know how to design or code anything really…if I had to repeat anything I wouldn’t know how, cause I don’t know how I did half the stuff. BUT all you have to do is switch over and join us “.com” folk and your header possibilities could be endless
