Hey Everyone!
Bumble Poo anyone? I wonder if bees poop….I’ve never thought of this before. Or is honey considered their poop? I assume they only consume pollen…soooo maybe honey really is their only “product” and they have no byproduct. I refuse to google this as I’m afraid what I’ll find ’cause I love honey.
Ok, onto my Bumble Poo….to achieve this fab look I used China Glaze Sun-kissed, from the 2012 Summer Neons Collection, and Dandy Nails Color Blind for the poo.
Dandy Nails Colorblind
Colorblind is a clear base polish packed with matte black and white hex glitter. The brush picks up a lot of the glitter so application was fairly easy. You will have to do some pushing around to satisfy your glitter placement needs, but that is typical with this type of top coat glitter. There is some visible bubbling on my index finger, that occurred during my Colorblind application, but I’m blaming that on user error because I think it was a result of some of my extra glitter pushing.

For the following swatches I used 2 coats of China Glaze Sun-kissed, one coat of Colorblind, and Julep fast dry top coat.

I’ve been looking for the perfect “honey” polish, too! I have a hexagons image on a stamping plate and I’m just dying to do an awesome theme mani. I hope some polish manufacturer reads this and listens! lol

That would be so insanely cute! If I ever come across a honey jelly I’ll let you know. I know Nfu Oh has “syrup” polishes, but I’ve yet to see if they have a honey like one.

Honey is bee vomit. They keep the nectar they consume in a separate stomach and then…well, regurgitate it. So honey is nectar plus magical bee enzymes.

Mmmmmmm….sweet, sweet bee puke.
Also, Honey is the only thing in a kitchen pantry with no expiry date. It has antibacterial properties, so that’s why it’s great for facials too. It may dry out, but it won’t ‘go bad’ per se..

I love how you chose a bright yellow base – it really adds contrast to the white and black hexagons.
And it definitely reminds me of bees and of beehives! Well done!

This is a gorgeous combo! And honey is actually pretty much what bees regurgitate… Sort of. I’ve asked my step-father because he works on a bee farm, but he went into too much detail and I quit listening. =P It comes from a different, separate sac area and not their stomach, but same difference.
