Hey Everyone!
Here’s my second polish from the Wet n Wild Fergie Collection, New Years Kiss!
WnW New Years Kiss reminds me very much of OPI’s Save Me from the Nicki Minaj Collection. They are both a clear base with dense fine silver glitter and small holographic bar glitter. The only differences I find between the two are that Save Me is a darker silver while New Years Kiss is a very light silver. Also the bar glitters are different sizes and Save Me has brighter more colorful bars. Both have the ability to be worn alone or layered over a base color, I chose to wear New Years Kiss on its own. I took these swatches a couple of weeks ago, so I can’t remember exactly how many coats I used, but I know it is between 2-3 coats.
And here is a quick comparison of Wnw New Years Kiss and OPI Save Me. I used two coats for both with no top coat.
As you can see they have slightly different bar glitter. New Years Kiss had better coverage, but my bottle of Save Me is a mini so I can’t fully compare application since the brush is much smaller than WnW’s wide brush.
I’m usually not a fan of bar glitter so I took a chance with New Years Kiss. I don’t hate it, but I don’t really have any desire to wear it again. It’s just “meh”.

Usually I am not a fan of bar glitters, but I am okay with them in this one! I think the holo pop they give it is what makes me like them in this mix!

Me neither! You’re right the holo makes it more bearable and I think the size too.

It’s pretty! I agree with you, bar glitter is bleah, but this looks pretty. The macro glitter hides it enough.

I’m so happy to see so many other people not really into bar glitter. I thought I was alone, guess not!

It looks very pretty on you even though bar glitters aren’t my favorites either!

What a great comparison of the two! I’m not much of a bar glitter fan myself either, but they’re pretty to look at

Thanks, I’ve never really do comparisons due to laziness.

I bought just one polish from the Fergie line and don’t think I will buy more. They are nice and all, but I think they are a bit overpriced. I have saved me, used it once and haven’t laid eyes on it ever since.

You’re right on them being over priced (for WnW at least). I have a couple more I haven’t used yet, but the excitement wore off.

WOWO! They are so close! I used my Save Me glitter over Cinderella and it was gorgeous! I know I’ll pull it out again at some point…
