We’re already in mid August and I’m finding myself in a slight panic. Nothing serious, It’s just that I have some how accumulated an above average amount of neons and bright summer polishes. I’m already in the mood for darker autumn colors so I’m trying to post some of my brights before I go into full autumn mode. This brings us here, with two super bright Petites shades: You Go Girl! and Wicked! (yes they’re so bright they required exclamation marks)
You Go Girl!
You Go Girl turned out to be a cross between a jelly and a creme. It had a jelly consistency, but was almost opaque enough to be a creme but not sheer enough to be a jelly. Its a cremly … that sounded better in my head than in type. I actually liked the weirdness of it and the pink is a super bright summery pink. I applied 2 coats here.
Wicked ended up being a really awesome surprise. It’s a true neon green jelly! I applied 3 coats here and added China Glaze Techno as an accent nail for a quickie jelly sandwich.
As I mentioned in my Petites Color Fever post Petites is one of four nail polish lines from CQ Cosmetics. You can purchase these polishes at your local Rite Aid or directly from the CQ Cosmetic’s site. Prices range between $3.00 – $4.50 on their site and include free shipping with no minimum purchase.
