Hey Everyone!
I feel like I haven’t been giving Sephora by OPI any love lately so I grabbed one out of my stash that I think will be a crowd pleaser. SOPI was the “brand” that really got me into nail polish. It was before my blogging days and I didn’t have access to OPI, or even know much about it or any other big brands like China Glaze and Zoya. So when Sephora came out with their SOPI line my eyes and heart blew up looking at all the amazing colors I was not used to seeing. So my SOPI stash was my biggest one, but now has been outgrown by the likes of China Glaze, OPI, Zoya etc. I still love my SOPI polishes though. So onto the polish, I have chosen SOPI Teal We Meet Again.

SOPI Teal We Meet Again
Teal We Meet Again is from the 2010 Havana Nights Collection. It is a gorgeous dark jewel toned teal with no shortage on shimmer. Application was great, I used 2 medium coats for complete coverage. If you use thin coats you will probably see some bald spots so you may need to up it to 3.

Are you into SOPI polishes? I think they’re a bit over priced especially when they used to be $9.00 and are now $9.50. Quality wise I don’t see any reason why they should be more than regular OPI polishes just because it has Sephora’s named slapped onto it *shrug* I still really love their polishes despite the price tag.

Slap it on your nails! I’ll admit, I only wore this once a long time ago and then forgot about it since.

Me too, it was bad enough at $9, but then I really slowed down on purchasing when it went to $9.50.

This looks great on you! I also agree…the price could be lower, but still love the polishes. I haven’t bought any Sephora by OPI in forever!

I haven’t either, I feel like they haven’t been coming out with new colors all that often lately.

I think I have this one but have never tried it. To tell you the truth, I do have a problem with the price of these polishes because they don’t really wow me. I don’t like the brush at all! I do have a few of these but usually wait until Sephora marks them down to $5 unless it’s a color that is really beautiful and unique. Remember the frenzy that Metro Chic caused?

I agree they’re over priced. I think at first I didn’t have too much of a problem because the colors did wow me cause I hadn’t seen colors like those anywhere. This was my pre-polish fiend days. But I haven’t bought any in a loooong time because they don’t wow me as much now that I’m surrounded by OPI, China Gaze, Zoya etc.

I sometimes like the colors from SOPI but overall I’m not too wowed by them. I have a couple minisets but I think that’s about it… idk if I even have one full-size bottle. I hate spending nearly 10 bucks on a polish that isn’t anything SUPER special. That being said- this is really pretty! There was a polish in this mini set that I got that was a brighter teal (now the name is escaping me) but had all this shimmer like this one and I just love it! Maybe if I went to Sephora more I’d see more new polishes and have to have them but there’s just not a Sephora that’s all that convenient for me. I lose.

you win/lose…having one too close means you’ll be more likely to buy more
I think at first I didn’t pay much attention to price because it was always the cheapest item I was purchasing there anyways compared to everything else. Then when they bumped the price up 50 cents I was like “whoa…wtf”.
