Hey Everyone!
Here’s a quick and simple one today, Zoya Cassi.

Zoya Cassi
Looking at the bottle it looks like it has a slight “frost” finish to it. I know, say the word frost and most nail fiends throw up a little. Zoya describes this frosty look as “sparkling white glitter shimmer” which I think it just a fancier way of describing a frost. Luckily this frosty shimmer doesn’t really transfer on the nail much. So breath easy ladies (and gents)…no frost for you today.
I ventured into the great outdoors of my back deck to catch the shimmer in this one…crazy I know, I’m so adventurous. I used my usual 2 coats plus a clear top coat for this mani and application was pretty normal, no issues to report.

Cassi is from the Twist Collection which was released in Spring 2009. I have to point out that I really appreciate Zoya consistently keeping collections around. I always feel so rushed when brands like OPI and China Glaze put out a collection and I have to buy it immediately because you never know which ones, if any, will become part of their core collection. Zoya keeps me a little more at ease knowing that if I can’t afford to immediately buy a new collection there’s a good chance I’ll be able to still get what I want months or even years later. Thanks Zoya!

I love that shimmer and I do love Zoya even if I don’t buy Zoya so often!

I don’t buy a lot of Zoya compared to other brands, but the ones I do have usually never disappoint.

I think that this color is really pretty but if I hadn’t seen your swatches, I would have never thought of even getting it just by looking at the bottle. I feel the same about Zoya collections! I love that they are still pretty accessible even when they’re not new.

I’ll admit I wouldn’t have normally gotten this color either. I had a brief moment where I decided I wanted to get every single Zoya polish in those pamphlet things that come with your order. So I randomly bought this one when I purchased some of the beach & surf collection at a beauty supply store. It was a small step toward my goal…but then reality set in and put that idea on the back burner.

Like Cynthia said this is not a polish I’d probably grab just based on the bottle but it’s so pretty on your nails! I love the shimmer and the soft peachy color. Do you know I have exactly zero Zoyas… idk why… I just never see one and am like “I HAVE to have that!” I need to change that!!

You should know by now, no one has to have it…just buy it
I highly suggest Zoya though. At first it intimidated me cause it was only available online, and then I got one in my first birchbox and started to buy some online. Plus you can find them in some salons and beauty supply stores now

Yeah I really need to get at least one. I just got my first Butter Londons today… I’m branching out! Now I just need some black and white indie glitter and a zoya.

Thanks! You’re right, I’ve never had a bad Zoya formula experience.
