Hey Everyone!
Today I have a new to me Indie brand by the name of Oopsie Daisies (btw how cute is that name!). I came across this brand thanks to my Bestie who was having one of her nights of emailing me links to ever single Indie polish she likes. She’s the cause of enabling my Indie purchases, but I guess it’s pay back as I’m the one who introduced her to the world of Indies and Etsy.
Anyways, I ended up purchasing Mischief Night and Apple Picking which are both part of the Halloween Harvest Duo. Of course when I was planning on using one as a mani for the day that morning I broke my nail during my boxing class. I also must mention the mani I was wearing during that break was my evil Orly So Go-Diva poop mani…if you read my post on it you will understand how much I must hate this polish by now. Its cursed
Anyways, my nail broke/split so low its on my nail bed. So I had to cut all my nails into super nubs. I still have the break since its on my nail bed so my nail shape on my ring finger might look funky.
Since I think dark polish looks best on short nails I decided to wear Mischief Night anyways. Even though I’m all nubby I think this polish still looks really good and helped me get over my nail breakage mourning.

Mischief Night is a black jelly base with multi sized hex glitter in fuchsia, purple and copper orange. The black jelly base is pigmented enough to wear alone in 2 – 3 coats, but you can also wear it as a one coater over a black base. I opted to wear 2 coats of Mischief Night on its own. Application was great and I was impressed that even with a black base not all the glitter was swallowed up. There’s still a good amount of glitter shining through which scored big points with me. It also didn’t dry too bumpy so I only used 2 coats of Seche fast dry top coat as opposed to Gelous which I tend to use on glitters like this. Wear was decent, I did have a big chunk chip off of my ring finger, but that was due to my split nail. I really need to get something to help repair it while it grows out.

You can purchase Mischief Night for $8.00 through Etsy or you can purchase the Halloween Harvest Duo for $15 (save $1). Both are in stock right now, which seems to be a rare thing these days with great indie polishes. I’ll be swatching Apple Picking some time soon as well.

I think so too
And its not too halloween-ish that it can work all year round in my opinion.

This is beautiful! I’m sorry about your broken nail! But I think your nails look beautiful short too

I’ve seen Ooopsie Dasies on etsy before and I was very tempted to order but my stash has been growing so fast the last couple of months that I thought I should wait just a little. I must organize it in a better way first.

Thanks! I slowed down on buying for quite some time so that was the only reason I justified buying some Oopsie Daisies. And good idea, you should organize so you can make room for more!
