Since it’s the season where pumpkin versions of anything and everything magically start to appear I thought I’d share with you a recent pumpkin product I purchased. On one of my last trips to Bath & Body Works to stock up on seasonal candles I picked up a True Blue Spa Pumpkin Renewing Face Mask. I had a coupon for a free item up to a $13 value with a $10 purchase. When there’s no restrictions such as having to be a signature item I usually go straight to the True Blue Spa products because those tend to be where I can stretch that coupon the most. So once I saw the “pumpkin” label and it was priced at $12 I had to get it.
Looking at the color and consistency it looks just like pumpkin pie filling. The smell isn’t necessarily just a pumpkin smell, its definitely a pumpkin spice scent. Although it looks and smells exactly like pumpkin pie filling, seeing the ingredients assures me that its not actually edible 
The instructions are to apply a thin layer over your face and let it sit for 10 minutes then wash off and pat dry. I really thought I would look like I had pie face, but it’s pretty translucent when applied. There’s still an orangey tint to it, but it’s really light which was nice.
Once I washed it off my skin felt nice, clean and soft which is usually typical of face masks. I’ve only used it once so I can’t comment on how “renewing” it actually is. I’m not really expecting it to do much other than feel good and smell nice. For a free item I can’t complain about that.

I think I would have a problem with trying to lick my face, if it smells that good!

I thought the exact same thing, that it looked just like pumpkin pie filling! Makes me want to call my grandma and ask her to make me one, now! =P
