Ohhhhh my god. I’ve been so strapped for time I’m getting so stressed! I went from having too much time on my hands to none at all. I just started a full time job this week and not having those 8 hours free in my day anymore is a big change. Work, school, classes, midterm!, boxing, blogging, boyfriend time…then maybe eat, sleep, and poop if I have time. On top of that I had taken off my Orly Nail Rescue (which I previously reviewed), but didn’t take the time to reapply it so I just painted my nails last night and today my break just completely broke off ( So this will be my last nubb-ish post before I have super nubs.
Enough venting! On to the polish! Here Today Aragone Tomorrow (just like my nail! *weeping*) is from OPI’s Spain Collection released in 2009. It wasn’t until last month did I bother picking up this color. I first saw it about 3 years ago when my bestie chose this color as her mani at a nail salon we had free vouchers for. Of course I can remember what was on her nails, but I have absolutely no idea what I had done to mine.
Here today Aragone Tomorrow is a very dark forest green, almost blackened but not quite. The formula for this polish was a little odd. Upon applying the first coat the lacquer looked very grainy. It applied smooth, but was a little streaky as well. After two coats the grain and streaks were not visible anymore. The graininess didn’t affect the texture, but it just looked weird. I used two coats with the second being a little on the thick side. I’d recommend 2-3 coats.
Overall I’m really happy with Here Today Aragon Tomorrow despite the weird grains in the first coat. It’s definitely unique in my collection as I don’t think I have any colors similar to this. I do have Essie Stylenomics that I have yet to try on which might be similar, but I don’t think they are exact.
