Today marks the day all of this insanity began 1 year ago! I’m amazed I made it this far and am so happy I stuck with it thus far. Through blogging I’ve met lots of amazing bloggers and have had the opportunity to interact with so many wonderful people. I’m so grateful for all the amazing experiences blogging has given me I don’t regret one bit of this madness!
When I first began to contemplate blogging I was completely unsure if I had the ability to do it so I was very hesitant. Then I came across a great post by Vampy Varnish “How To Start a Nail Polish Blog” which gave me that last push I needed and the rest is history. If you’re thinking about starting a blog I recommend reading her post (there’s a part I and II) it’s very informative and helpful in getting yourself started.
I know I’m not a “mega blogger” or even close to one, but I’m proud of how far LacquerMeSilly has come considering how flustered and frustrated I was in the beginning ( and still sometimes am). I want to thank everyone who visits my blog, whether you are a serial commenter or silently lurk in the shadows I appreciate it!
Initially I intended to do a giveaway for all you wonderful polish fiends, but due to unforeseen circumstances and lack of time (I couldn’t even light my candle!) I was not able to get that done in time. HOWEVER, I am still planning on holding a giveaway…but it’ll be more of a 1 year 1 month giveaway! Which means I have an extra month to make it even more awesome. Think you can stick around for one more month??

Yay! Congrats. My blogiversary isn’t until December and I am also surprised at what a strange ride this has been so far. But, I do have to say that the best part has been meeting people like you!
