This is going to be my final Halloween themed nail art mani for this season! I didn’t intend on doing another one, but I managed to squeeze this one in. With all the time I’m spending indoors waiting for this “Frankenstorm” Hurricane Sandy to pass (or ever get here), I’ve had plenty of catch up time today for polishing and blogging. If it’s as bad as everyone is predicting chances are I’ll lose power and be alone and bored in the dark with polishes I can’t see. So this mani was inspired by the idea of me, sitting in the dark lol.
This is what I used:
- Zoya – Snow White
- SOPI – Yellow My Name Is Betsey
- Finger Paints – Black Expressionism
- Dotting Tools
I’ve realize I’ve used one or both Snow White and Black Expressionism in all of my nail art manis. They’re really great polishes, but I need to venture out a lil more.
This mani could not get anymore basic…this is pretty much what I did:
Applied my clear base coat
Applied 2 coats of Black Expressionism (my most favorite black cream!)
Using random sized dotting tools I dotted sets of eyes in yellow and black.
Using a smaller size dotting tool for each set of eyes I then dotted black within the circles in which ever direction I wanted them to look.
Once that all dried I topped it all off with a coat of Seche Fast Dry Top Coat.
Tada! Thats all it took..now have a look!
Pretty simple right? This was pretty fun to do and very easy to recreate in your own way.
Hope everyone else on the East Coast and everywhere else that is getting effected stay safe! I’m posting this, and my next post if I have time, as a scheduled post incase I do lose power so hopefully I won’t be gone for long if thats the case!
