Nautical Stamping

  *Product featured provided for review

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for my absence, I’ve been having some seriously dry skin/cuticle issues since the weather has been changing. I’ve been trying to give my cuticles a break from polish and acetone, but they’re still a bit messed up :( It’s a huge frustration. Also, I have to admit…I resisted for some time, but I caved and downloaded Candy Crush which has been to blame for me not blogging some nights. Heh…oops ;)

Anyways, I managed to step away from Candy Crush long enough to create a nautical mani using Born Pretty Store stamping plate QA5 I received for review.

What I used:

Base Color – OPI Tickle My France-y

Stripes & Anchor – SOPI Opening Night

Ship’s Wheel – Konad Silver

Plate – Born Pretty Store stamping plate QA5

I used my subpar nail art brush (which I previously reviewed here) to freehand stripes and then stamped an anchor image on my ring finger and a ship’s wheel on my index finger.

Overall the stamping plate worked well just like the other Born Pretty Store stamping plates I’ve used. I also liked all of the images on the plate and will be able to find some use for all of them. Born Pretty Store plates are a cheaper alternative at $2.99 compared to more expensive plates like Konad if you’re on a budget and also doesn’t require you to purchase a whole set like Red Angel or Bundle Monster, etc.

As I’ve mentioned before, you can used my discount code “BAL91″ for a 10% discount when ordering from Born Pretty Store and international shipping is always free.
